An all purpose lube for sex and body massage needs is the best option, this means you only need buy one product and silicone lube is the best for this. You only need use a very small amount and this actually goes a very long way, it is also good for preventing friction and is a non-irritant product.

While water based lubes are also good, any lube with glycerin, oil or any added flavors and sugars is not a great idea. The vagina is able to lubricate itself although often not enough to prevent friction, irritation and even small tears and silicone lube helps. It is also good for anal sex practices and for use with condoms.

Also steer clear of lubes which contain nonoxynol-9 spermicide – this is not great for oral sex, and it breaks down the latex of condoms.
